Me be back for the moment

Okay, so I haven’t posted for a while—a couple/few of months. There is a lot out there to keep up with! I have been lurking at everyone else’s blogs and tweets. I did manage to post a few comments here and there. Real Life kicks your butt sometimes and the blog has to take the back seat. So sue me! No, don’t, all you’ll get outta me is dust bunnies!

So, I did see Rob’s latest movie, Remember Me. I liked it, but like many people, I was surprised by the ending. No part 2, that’s for sure! (see Mrs.P in pic!)

Then, New Moon came out on DVD. Yes, me and my Twilight-pusher daughter went at midnight to Borders and picked up “our” copy. (I will obtain my own copy soon to go along with my own copy of Twilight!) She took the purr-tee necklace that came with it. She said we’d share but I still haven’t worn it yet! BRAT!

Rob, I see, has been busy working on next movie, Bel-Ami. I don’t know when it is suppose to be out, I'm gonna guess 2011.

Then we have K-Stew trekking over to Hungary for her 20th birthday to get her some Rob wishes. Lucky girl! I have said once that I don’t give a Crapsten, but I think I am being swayed by Lisa @ 17Forever. She keeps putting up these fabulous posts and pictures of them! D A M I T! LOL

Now the latest word as of this date, is that some of the cast from “the saga” are making their way back to the “Couve” to do some re-shoots! I wish I had my passport so I could hang out at the airport and then hang out in the area and take random pictures--not stalking. 
The next big revel is that Oprah is going to have Taylor, Kristen AND Rob on her show! Finally! Geez! Hmm, I don’t recall them being on there. Could be mistaken? Anyone know? The air date is May 13th which also happens to be Rob’s 24th birthday. Wonder if she’s gonna get him a cake like they did when they filmed New Moon? Realizing that all this is taped, I wonder exactly what date this will be “taped”? The 13th is a Thursday, so it wouldn’t be “live” per say like her Friday show. I will be DVR’ing that for sure!

Then the long awaited June 30th for Eclipse is the next major shin-dig. Waiting for fandango to send me a email alert so I can get tickets.
CAUSE I'M GOING!

I went this passed weekend to Everett and Seattle (VitaminR country—I should have let her know, we could have stopped by and chatted—DANG!) I am a member of a cake club and this year it was being held in Everett. This is my 3rd cake show that I have attended now. All have been fun. Next year it is on the East Side-Spokane. Seattle had Pike’s Market, the Space Needle, EMP museum and the smell of the ocean. Ah, I miss that! Went with a friend and had a great time. She is a cake decorator too and hasn’t been to Seattle since she was a kid.

I also had a few stow-aways go with me. Avi Mrs. P from Twi-bite, Paper Edward, New Moon Edward, New Moon Bella, and New Moon/shirtless Jacob. I think Mrs. P heard me say cake show and she thought she might see a cake in the shape of a sparkling peen. (No, Mrs. P, we will have to make one of those ourselves. It is a nice cake show, not a naughty one. He he.)

They snuck into my backpack and were trying to re-create the tent scene from Eclipse

and Mrs. P was going to be a new born in Seattle. They managed to get a couple of pictures of their shenanigans. When I discovered them, I shoved them back into my suitcase for the rest of the trip.

I did get to see cardboard New Moon Edward--Jacob is leaning in too and Twilight Edward. $33.00 for them-wow! I also picked up copies of the scripts too--Twilight one has copies of the cast's signatures, NM doesn't--boo!  Score for me! There is a store that sells all that stuff, goldenagecollectables.com --they are in the underground of Pike's Market--cool store.

I will be attempting to make my way back there soon and just might let them sit in the front seat this time! I am hoping to go prior to the end of September/beginning of October, which is the Forks trip with the gang from Twitarded. If not, I might just have to wait for...FOOOOORRRRKKKSSS!!!!!

I don’t mind the set shots. It is nice to see Rob working. That also means we will get to see him on the press junket, briefly. March 1 is the premier in New York of Remember Me. (It is going to be in early since Rob is in the middle of making Bel-Ami.) The movie hits the big screen March 12. The rest of the cast are: Pierce Brosnan—James Bond 007, Emilie De Ravin—Lost, Chris Cooper—The Bourne Identity/Supremacy, Lena Olin—Alias. I was playing around with the name game of Robert Pattinson and was trying to think of descriptive words to spell out with his name—no I didn't use his middle name. This is what I came up with off the top of my head. I also used my "Word" synopsis to help me out, so if you say WTF, you'll see why I chose that word. I know there are some better ones, but yeah. So, I went a bit further and googled name descriptions. Here's what I found on behindthename.com. " From the Germanic name Hrodebert meaning "bright fame".   Hmm…maybe they are on to something! If you can come up with some more adjectives, be my guest!

Did it for Love

One of the gifts I received from my family was a gift card to Borders. I held on to this for 3 weeks. Pretty good considering if I have any kind of money in my pocket, it usually is burning a hole in it. I contemplated on what to purchase with it, like a little kid that was given a dollar from their grandparents. Uhmm…candy—nooo, another Sookie Stackhouse book #4, 5, 6, 7, the audio book CD's of the Twilight Saga, a music CD? Grrr!, the choices! Hey and don't forget to wait for a coupon, you'll get more for your money that way! I am a coupon whore. Who's got'em?, give'em to me!!, wait I've gotta coupon for that!

I decided on the Twilight audio CD. I had heard from Lisa-17forever that she listens to them on her way to work. My commute is only 15 minutes but I could listen to them anyhow. Hey!, wait!, when I go to my daughters away basketball games or visit my #2 son, which is usually a 1 to 2 hours drive…that would work! YAY ME!

I listened to them last Saturday on a away trip; up and back 4 hours! I got thru 4 CD's. I am soo glad I did this! I can only listen to my usual music CD's so much. I am jack-up on this like a kid whose drank a 2-liter of Mountain Dew! So when I get home I tell Mr. RM what I did. "Good" is all he says—good!? I will make you a believer! I want to continue listening but it's late. So the next morning, I put them in the lap top. I can multi-task while I listen. Dishes get cleaned, tore down the xmas tree that has been sitting there, clean up around the casa. Mr. RM is snoozing while all this is happening and then wakes up and says, "Who are you talking too?" "What?-It's the CD's," I say. "Oh," he says, "okay". I continue about my business and pause the CD because I had to go downstairs, can't hear it down there. Mr. RM says, "Is it over, is that it? " his voice was like a little kid asking if that was all the ice cream there was. "Uh-no, I have to do something so I paused it". He was listening to the CD!
Let the brain washing begin! Be it that he's missed the first four, he was listening to this one. LOL! I tell him that the CD's are on the table if he was to catch up. He's already seen the DVD with me so he knows a bit about the story.

Last night there was crap on TV and I thought that would be a good time to finish my" listening pleasure" and we, Mr. RM and myself, finished the last 5--CD # 7 to 11. 5+ hours! All with my honey, Mr. RM! I dozed off at James/ballet studio part as it was starting to get past my bed time. Mr. RM, every so often would comment saying that wasn't in the movie. Of course it wasn't honey cause this the book! Men! LOL. My daughter comes home from practice and curiously asks what we are doing. I said sshh we are listening to Twilight CD. She laughs and says DAD too? I said yes and the dogs. She laughs again. I tell her that I am in the middle of my brain washing! Ok mom!, she says and quickly leaves.

I have to give credit to Mr. RM. He stayed on the couch and listened to the rest of the CD's with me. Asked some questions and made some comments, chuckled at Charlie when he kept calling Edward Edwin and ask about Laurent being at the Cullen's house. I had to give back story details so he could understand. Ahh, the first part of the Twi-trans-mind-melt is complete! Muhahahaha!
I explained to him and the dogs, now mom has to get the New Moon one so we can hear about the wolves. The dogs gave me the two-paws up! Now we have to save out bones and get that coupon!

Actually, Mr. RM is the best honey for putting up with my Twilight-gaga-self. This will hopefully give him insight as to why I like the story. Being that someone talking the story gave it a different spin.
We've been together for 30 years so that's gotta count for something. Most of all, I think he did it for love. Sound familiar?

Happy 2010

Well, I can’t believe that 2009 is over! This first week of 2010 has just whizzed by! My Moon Dance blog is still in the infant stages. I will try to blogg about Rob Pattz and related info as I can. Also, trying to incorporating a bit of Van Morrison and other song references.


I have made some new blogger friends and follow some great people who are waaayyy better at this than I am.
